On a routine assignment from the League of 10,00 ships, the crew of the GSS Crescendo capture an assassin and are tasked with taking them back to a penal station, all is well until the convict starts to act erratic, crazed and violent against their will – this effect soon starts to spread. As the crew delves deeper in to the mystery, they discover that the final frontier is the mind itself.
